After Welcome Tjelmeland arrived on FBoy Island, fans wanted to know more about the tattooed hottie. Once the cast got the expected jokes about his name out of the way, Welcome became an immediate competitor on the series. While the three women on the island are still getting to know him, viewers are already curious about Welcome’s life outside the show.
Welcome was a latecomer to the show’s cast alongside Jarred Evans and Jomar Josué Pérez Adorno. The three newbies arrived on the beach in a surprise reveal during the third episode, filling out the ranks after six of the original 24 men were eliminated. Like the rest of the bachelors, their identity as nice guys or fboys was hidden.
The women of FBoy Island have to decide who they want to keep on the island while also attempting to figure out their status. Another wrench thrown into the premise is a promise of prize money for the fboys who are successful with their ruse as nice guys. However, Welcome’s life outside the show gives some clues as to what kind of guy he might be.
Hailing from Florida, Welcome is no stranger to living in a tropical destination. He splits his time between Miami and Los Angeles.
The 22-year old is also no stranger to being in front of the camera. He mainly works as a club promoter but moonlights as a model. It appears as though Welcome’s model status may have recently become more official, as he tagged the modeling agency, Genetic Models Management, in his Instagram bio.
On his Instagram, Welcome catalogs photoshoots and nights out at the club on his feed, showcasing himself as the life of the party. Welcome said on FBoy Island that he loves playing video games, and he has captured some of that gaming on his Twitch channel, though he hasn’t posted anything new there in over a year. In addition to his other gigs, Welcome dabbles as a digital creator. He has quite a large presence online across a few platforms. His TikTok, @itzwelcome, currently has 20.8K followers. There, Welcome makes content that ranges anywhere from thirst traps to humor about dating. In short, his content is befitting of a fboy.
Outside of his personal accounts, Welcome has multiple Instagram story collections linked to the content house, The Clubhouse. This Beverly Hills-based group houses several young TikTok and YouTube creators and was started by Daisy Keech after she left the Hype House. Welcome isn’t listed as an official member on Clubhouse social media, but he does frequently hang out at the mansion and share photos and videos with its creators.
Welcome is certainly a unique member of the FBoy Island group of bachelors. His numerous tattoos and subdued demeanor have kept him in the running for the girls’ hearts throughout the series. With new episodes released on HBO Max every Thursday at midnight through August 12, fans can keep watching to see if CJ, Sarah, or Nakia will welcome Welcome into their love life.
