Love Island USA star Christian Longnecker believes that Kyra Lizama and Will Moncada already knew each other before appearing on season 3. Christian, Will, and Kyra were all introduced to the villa on day one. Christian initially coupled up with Cashay Proudfoot, but it quickly became clear that they were just friends. In turn, Kyra started out her journey with Korey Gandy. However, as Will made his late entry into Love Island alongside Melvin Holland Jr a.k.a. Cinco, Kyra was adamant about pursuing him all the way.
In 2019, Elizabeth Weber and Alexandra Stewart became reality TV stars following their stints on Love Island USA season 1. Elizabeth won the season alongside partner Zac Mirabelli, and Alex finished in second place with partner Dylan Curry. After the show, Alex and Elizabeth launched the After The Island podcast where they review episodes of Love Island and interview contestants from newer seasons. Recently, Christian was a guest on After The Island and dropped a few fun facts about his season 3 co-stars.
During the latest episode of After The Island, Alex and Elizabeth interviewed the first eliminated contestant on Love Island USA season 3, Christian Longnecker. When the AFI co-hosts asked him which couple could win the season, Christian mentioned Will Moncada and Kyra Lizama. As he elaborated on his answer, however, Christian revealed a few things. He started out by saying that Will and Kyra live "15 minutes from each other." Elizabeth then mentioned the rumors that Will and Kyra might've known each other before the show, to which Christian replied: "They had to!" He brought up the likes and comments that Will and Kyra had exchanged on Instagram months before they were on the show, which made sense to him. "As soon as [Will] walked in, Kyra was like a hawk. Otherwise, Christian Longnecker mentioned a few times that he didn't get along very well with islanders like Josh Goldstein, Cinco, Trina Njoroge. He mostly felt like Josh and Cinco were still all about college life despite the fact that they had already graduated. Specifically, Christian said that he wasn't even sure why Cinco is on the show. In turn, Christian didn't get too specific about Trina, but he also mentioned not "vibing" with her in the villa. It's clear that Christian had a great time on the show and made solid friendships while he was there. He also mentioned wanting to link up with Roxy Ahmad following her recent elimination.
There had been rumors already going around about Kyra and Will knowing each other before the show. However, Christian's statements hold a lot of weight considering that he was actually there in the villa and was able to observe how they behaved around each other. It is also very revealing that they live so close to each other.
