ScreenRant - Feed

Shocking details of 90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya’s past in Ukraine have left fans wondering if Jovi Dufren’s wife has been leading a double life all along. Amidst her taking a break from Instagram for receiving disturbing DMs from fans, Yara is being called out for her inappropriate behavior with Jovi’s mother Gwen Eymard on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? In turn, her fashion shop is also being scrutinized for over-inflation of prices for products Yara gets from wholesale websites. Meanwhile, her saying her rudeness is a Russian trait has also offended fans. Alas, what exactly has made TLC viewers conclude that Yara’s reality TV persona is fake to help her get famous?

Yara’s plummeting popularity comes as a shock to many as she has been considered one of the most genuine cast members of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? this season. While Yara did start the TLC season 8 on the wrong foot, she was soon deemed feisty and her wit was appreciated until her sassy attitude received scornful looks from fans. Recently, Yara also got mocked for buying followers on Instagram. Later, she was criticized for hosting giveaways and got blamed for scamming people to get them into following her. Somehow, everything 90 Day Fiancé star Yara does right now is being seen as problematic by the fans. To add to her troubles, a fan has uncovered her Ukrainian reality TV past.

Popular 90 Day Fiancé blogger @truecrime_jankie shared a long list of things a fan “learned from Yara’s dating show appearance” after watching the show Love Online that Yara reportedly appeared on. Back in 2014, Yara revealed a lot of things on that show that she’s never admitted after coming to the US. At 20, Yara reportedly claimed to have worked as a "waitress, seamstress, and an administrator (assistant)” while her mother worked as a baker and made 100 euros a month that Yara blew up “on one night of partying in Spain.” The show involved Yara reportedly flying to Barcelona to meet her then-boyfriend Raphael, and it allegedly showed her being “extremely grateful, sweet, and appreciative towards everyone and everything,” doing a complete 180 degrees from her 90 Day Fiancé personality.

She’s excited to be in a small hotel room,” the fan wrote, while noting that Mylah’s mom appeared to be “very religious” and couldn’t understand “how someone could be an atheist.” Interestingly, Yara could then cook only one dish, but it was great and her boyfriend’s family liked it. The show also had Yara’s boyfriend trying to “test her honesty,” which made him get his female friend to hang out with the Ukrainian beauty. In person, Yara reportedly told Raphael that she “doesn’t smoke at all and barely drinks” but later seemingly drank and smoked in the company of the girl. The guy eventually ended things with Yara after his friend made some more shocking claims about her Yara allegedly making out, but that was never shown according to the report.

The show also showed Yara reportedly admitting to getting fake eyelashes, a nose job, lip filler, and “other procedures.” In the comments, a 90 Day Fiancé fan noted that Yara is apparently “leading a double life to get famous.” The fan wondered “how long she keeps up the Jovi façade and takes the kid to Hollywood in search of a movie deal.” However, the fan also added that Yara herself has been “building an ‘empire’” based on her TLC persona, which may give this 90 Day Fiancé star all the fame that she needs.
