Sister Wives: Why Reddit Thinks Robyn Brown Is A Major Hypocrite

ScreenRant - Feed

Robyn Brown is a controversial star on the polygamist series Sister Wives, and fans on Reddit think that she is a hypocrite. Much like her husband Kody Brown, Robyn receives criticism from Sister Wives fans on a regular basis. In the past Robyn has been judged by fans for a range of topics from her Pinterest posts to crying too much.

Robyn is constantly criticized by the Sister Wives fanbase for controlling behavior on the reality series. Although all four sister wives agree that Kody is the leader of their family, Robyn manages to have control of a multitude of the Browns' situations. For example, all five Sister Wives stars took a part in launching their online boutique, My Sisterwife's Closet, but Robyn is said to be in complete control of the shop.

Related: Sister Wives: Signs Meri Is Loving All The Attention She's Getting

Additionally, Robyn is the authority on Kody's romantic life. Kody was recently pursuing a fifth wife, but the woman he was courting claimed that Robyn prevented Kody from getting married again. Fans find Robyn's reign over the Brown family unfair, especially when she contradicts herself from time to time. On Reddit, one fan noted an instance in which Robyn blatantly prioritized her child over another sister wife's.

On the show, Robyn's son Dayton, who Kody adopted in 2015, got surgery to fix his eyelid. Dayton was involved in an ATV accident that required a great deal of surgery and left his eye impaired. Dayton was unable to open his right eye as a result of his initial surgery. Eventually, Dayton was able to get plastic surgery done to give him control of his eyelid. Although this is great news for the Brown family, fans found Dayton's surgery to be a demonstration of Robyn's hypocrisy. When it came time for Dayton's surgery, Robyn made sure the family was exceedingly accommodating of Dayton. When fellow Sister Wives star Christine's daughter Ysabel had a painful spine surgery, fans claimed Robyn was unfazed.

One Sister Wives fan took to Reddit to air out their frustration with Kody's latest wife. The Reddit user recalled that Robyn made Kody go to the hospital with her and made sure that when they got home everyone was "waiting to greet him and they have a pizza party." The fan then pointed out that this was hypocritical of Robyn because Ysabel didn't get comparable attention during her emergency spine surgery. Specifically, fans were angry that Kody didn't even go to the hospital during Ysabel's surgery. The user finished their post claiming, "It was a simple case of Dayton (Robyn's child) being more important than Ysabel."

Other Sister Wives fans agreed that Kody unfairly favors Robyn, and she takes advantage of it. Another user crudely commented, "Kody is a selfish a** who only cares about his d*** (and therefore Robyn)." A different Reddit user said that Kody is responsible for not attending Ysabel's surgery, but there's more that Robyn could have done. The user explained, "If Robyn was any kind of team player she would have insisted he go and reassured him she and their kids would be fine." While Sister Wives viewers agree that all of Kody's children should get the treatment they need, Robyn frustrates fans when she puts her children above her sister wives'.

Suffice to say, Robyn is not a fan-favorite Sister wife. Robyn's hypocrisy is just another addition to the long list of complaints Sister Wives fans will likely never retire. Although Kody should be accountable for his actions, viewers pointed out Robyn persuades her husband to favor his children as he favors her. While Robyn might get whatever she wants from Kody on Sister Wives, fans are not so generous with their opinion of her.

How Much Loki, WandaVision & Falcon & The Winter Soldier Cost To Make

ScreenRant - Feed

The MCU shows so far on Disney+ - Loki, WandaVision, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier - resemble movies, and that's because they cost a lot to make. The MCU has never been a low-budget franchise, with even the first Iron Man movie costing $140 million to produce. To be fair though, Tony Stark's debut made $585 million worldwide, setting the tone early on for Marvel Studios, that big spending on their blockbusters would ultimately equal even bigger profits.

Each and every movie in the MCU has had a budget of $100 million or more, in several recent cases even crossing the $200 million mark. When each MCU movie lately tends to cross - or at least come close to - the billion-dollar level worldwide though, it's hard to argue that the truckloads of cash Marvel Studios and parent company Disney are putting out isn't worth it in the long run. The MCU has earned a reputation for both consistent quality and consistently good visuals, and this has proven no different on Disney+.

Related: What Alligator Loki's Action Scenes Look Like Without CGI (It's Amazing)

Visually, they're also on par with the MCU heroes' big-screen adventures, especially WandaVision and Loki, which got to indulge in much wilder special effects shots than did the more grounded Falcon and the Winter Soldier. As one might imagine, things like that are far from cheap, and all three shows cost big bucks. Adding TV shows to the MCU fold made some question if Marvel was finally risking over-saturating the franchise, but just as many have been waiting for over a decade now for Marvel Studios to release its first truly bad movie, the MCU shows so far are hits with both critics and fans.

Unsurprisingly, Marvel Studios hasn't released exact budget figures for Loki, WandaVision, or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Neither Marvel nor Disney is known for being forthcoming with such financial details. However, reports from back around the time Disney+ launched in 2019 shed some light on the topic. It was reported that each Marvel Studios show on Disney+ would likely cost around $25 million per episode. That sounds like a lot, and it is, outpacing even shows like Game of Thrones by a big margin.

That means that if the $25 million figure held, WandaVision's nine-episode run could've cost Marvel and Disney a gargantuan $225 million. That still pales in comparison to the cost of a movie like Avengers: Endgame, but it's astronomically high for a TV show. Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki each only ran six episodes, meaning their runs likely topped out right around $150 million in production costs. That's a lot, but at least a savings from WandaVision. It's important to keep in mind though that these numbers likely don't include marketing costs. Thankfully, all three MCU shows so far have been huge hits, and have likely drawn in thousands, if not millions, of new Disney+ subscribers.

Black Widow Post-Credits Highlights Endgame’s Iron Man Tribute Problem

ScreenRant - Feed

Black Widow gave Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) her own grave, but this highlights one key issue regarding Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr.) tribute in Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios unconventionally wrapped up Scarlett Johansson's arc in the MCU with a period piece. Set in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, the Cate Shortland-directed flick follows Nat on her personal journey to reunite with her first family and tackle unfinished business from her past.

However, while the primary events of Black Widow take place before the arrival of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in the MCU, the film jumps forward in time to present-day MCU via its post-credits scene. In it, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) visits her sister's tombstone in an unknown location. Not much is revealed about the site but based on the candles and other trinkets left on the grave, it's either a public funeral that had just taken place or people have been dropping by to pay their respects to Nat. After all, without her sacrifice, Smart Hulk's (Mark Ruffalo) reverse snap wouldn't be possible.

Related: Black Widow Didn’t Show Natasha's True Endgame Tribute

Regardless of whether or not this is enough for Nat's send-off is still up for debate. There are arguments that neither the tag scene nor the events of Black Widow really justify her death in Endgame. Aside from that, however, the film's post-credits scene also indirectly cites an issue with regard to Tony Stark's farewell service. Iron Man died on the grounds of Avengers HQ; meanwhile, his tribute takes place in the lake house he shared with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Morgan (Lexi Rabe). Yet, the film never showed his body again after he died. They could’ve easily brought him home so he could have a funeral with a proper grave. So, what was the point of setting his original arc reactor to the lake? Granted, it looks more emotional, not to mention symbolic considering that it represented his hero's journey, but it's still curious what happened to his actual remains.

Compare this to Nat and it makes much more sense if she's the one who got Iron Man's farewell treatment. The Avenger died in Vormir, in an entirely different time than the present MCU as it happened during the time heist. After she jumped off the cliff and sacrificed herself, there's no clear information about what happened to her remains. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) just miraculously acquired the Soul Stone and returned to Avengers HQ on his own, which means he never recovered Nat's body. Given this, chances are that the tombstone she has in Black Widow has an empty casket. She could've gotten a statue in her honor and it would've had the same effect.

With her solo offering, Marvel Studios attempted to retroactively honor Nat after her controversial death in Avengers: Endgame. Yet, it still fell flat on those critics who believe that the only founding female Avenger didn't deserve to wrap up her story the way she did. Aside from the logical issues regarding the difference between her and Iron Man's send-offs in both movies, it's also disappointing the Black Widow post-credits scene took away from Yelena's somber moment at her sister's grave with Valentina Allegra de Fontaine's (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss) appearance.

Amazing Spider-Man's Worst Movie Moment Was The Opposite of The Comics

ScreenRant - Feed

The Amazing Spider-Man's single worst moment was the exact opposite of a classic Spider-Man storyline in the comics, and this massive failure by the writers doomed the franchise. The 2012 film directed by Marc Webb retold Peter Parker's origin story but notably replaced Mary Jane with Gwen Stacy - Peter's first girlfriend in the comics - and created a different dynamic between hero and love interest. In Amazing Spider-Man #90, that dynamic is put to the test in a pivotal moment - but in the films, the moment is changed drastically, and for the worse.

Leading up to Amazing Spider-Man #90, Peter Parker's life is quite tumultuous: his Aunt May is routinely ill, and his relationship with Gwen Stacy is strained whenever he misses dates in order to save others as Spider-Man. Police captain George Stacy is overprotective of his daughter Gwen but ultimately approves of Peter as her boyfriend, albeit with some reluctance. All this comes to a head when, in a battle between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus, Captain Stacy attempts to save an innocent bystander and is subsequently mortally wounded.

Related: Marvel's 'Old Man Spider-Man' Got Spidey Completely Wrong

Spider-Man deals with Doctor Octopus and quickly scoops up Captain Stacy and begins to swing him to a hospital, but George begs him to put him down on a nearby building - he has to talk about Gwen. "After I'm gone, they'll be no one to look after her - no one, Peter, except you!" Peter is shocked that Captain Stacy has figured out his true identity - something no other friend or foe has managed to accomplish. Captain Stacy only manages to live a little while longer before expiring on the roof of the building in Spider-Man's arms. Peter realizes that Stacy must have known his identity for a very long time - and never told anyone.

This is a turning point for Spider-Man comics; a major supporting character dies and - similar to Spider-Man's origin story and Uncle Ben - Peter blames himself. Furthermore, Gwen despises Spider-Man from this moment until her death, believing the wall-crawler killed her father. But in The Amazing Spider-Man film, Captain Stacy's dying words are reversed: "People will get hurt - sometimes the people closest to you. So I want you to promise me something, okay? Leave Gwen out of it." Peter and Gwen tearfully break up a few scenes later, Gwen realizing that her father made Peter honor his last words. Yet in the very next scene, in response to a teacher chastising Peter's assertions that he won't be late again with "Don't make promises you can't keep, Mr. Parker", Peter leans over to Gwen and whispers with a smirk, "But those are the best kind."

It is frankly astounding how radically these small changes alter the character of Peter in the film. Peter in the comics is racked with guilt over Captain Stacy's death, not to mention the notion that Gwen now despises his alter-ego, whereas Peter in the film appears to ignore Captain Stacy's last words altogether and isn't motivated by guilt at all. This change also completely ignores Gwen's feelings in the equation: does she not have a say in her own future? Is it to be determined solely by Spider-Man and her late father? By removing Gwen's agency and making Peter out to be selfish, the ending of The Amazing Spider-Man goes against a poignant moment in the comics, second only to Gwen Stacy's death. All adaptations require changes, but perhaps nothing so radical as changing the ending of one of the most important Spider-Man comics of the Silver Age.

Crowfall: Getting Started Guide (Tips, Tricks, & Strategies)

ScreenRant - Feed

Crowfall was finally released on July 6 after a lengthy crowdfunding process that proved to be immensely successful. Crowfall plays similarly to most other MMORPGs, with many players likening the game to World of Warcraftwhich is far from a small, niche MMORPG. Although Crowfall has similarities to other MMORPGs, there are key differences that might give new players some trouble.

Related: Crowfall: Best Cleric Build (Tips, Gear, & Strategies)

Like other MMOs, Crowfall is easy to pick up, but hard to master. There are an increasing number of aspects in Crowfall to keep track of while leveling up and taking on objectives. Although the game might seem daunting at first, it becomes much easier to understand once players have the right information. Here is a streamlined guide to getting started in Crowfall.

Before entering the world of Crowfall, players must create a new character. Don’t put too much stock into which race or class to choose at first. It will become more relevant once players start to specialize, but as a novice, it’s a good idea to just choose what looks interesting. Players can't change their class at any point, but it is possible to respec other attributes of a character in Crowfall. Players will learn how to navigate the world and best specialize their character throughout the NPE (New Player Experience) from levels 1-30.

Once players have created a character, load it into a server and begin the game in the Temple area. The first thing players will see is an NPC named Guillermo. It is highly recommended players follow the questline that starts with Guillermo. Players can also just hop in the world and start leveling up but following the questline will introduce the concepts of the game in a fun way. After finishing the questline, players’ characters should be about level 30. If players have VIP status (unlocked by paying the optional Crowfall monthly subscription), a “Jump Start” pedestal is available in the Temple. This pedestal allows players to jump directly to level 25.

After level 30, the gameplay is generally focused on getting better gear for characters. Equipment, and even a character’s body, is upgradeable. Seeking better equipment makes players more efficient in battles, whether it be PvE or PvP. The initial gameplay loop for acquiring better gear is farming NPCs for gold and drops, however, at a certain point players will need to harvest and craft to get better items and disciplines. At this point, it’s important to work with other players to maximize efficiency in Crowfall. The easiest way to work with players is by joining a guild! Find a guild that helps new players and ask them questions. Any guild worth their salt will be eager to aid.

Harvesting and crafting become essential later in Crowfall, so it’s important to start working at them early. No matter which type of harvesting is acquired from a vendor inside the Temple, that harvesting skill is not leveled up linearly. Instead, players level up harvesting by advancing the items currently being worn by a character. Basically, players level up their equipped gear, not the harvesting skill itself. Crafting uses resources to craft recipes and is leveled up by crafting more advanced items and finding more disciplines. Some of the best gear and weapons in the game are acquired by crafting, so learning how to craft is infinitely useful in Crowfall. If this seems like a surplus of information to keep track of when starting out, don’t worry; the NPE questline from levels 1-30 will teach players aspects like harvesting and crafting in a hands-on fashion. While it is a good idea to keep beginner’s tips & tricks in mind, nothing can replace the information learned in Crowfall’s New Player Experience.

X-Men Writer Penning Horror Comic Set During the Gold Rush

ScreenRant - Feed

Si Spurrier, a critically acclaimed comic writer known for his work on Marvel titles such as X-Men, X-Force, and Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, is penning a new story - a horror western. The Rush takes place during the Gold Rush and is a story many years in the making. This is a comic that arachnophobic readers should probably stay away from.

Spurrier has written countless Marvel Comics but has also written numerous stories in 2000 AD as well as Hellblazer, Gutsville, The Spire, and several Judge Dredd stories. He will be partnering with Nathan Gooden who has also recently been working on Barbaric. He predominantly works on Vault Comics titles. Some of these have included ZojaquanVampire: The Masquerade, and Dark One.

CBR has shared Vault Comics' announcement of The Rush, as well as a few variant covers illustrated by Martin Simmonds and preview pages. While an official date of release hasn't been revealed, this comic is expected to arrive in October 2021. It is written by Si Spurrier, with art by Nathan Gooden, colors by Addison Duke, letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, and design by Tim Daniel. The series will be set in the Yukon Territory just before the turn of the 20th century. This Vault Comic series will throw its characters into a frozen wilderness rife with spiders and madness. Check out the variant covers and preview pages here:

  • Written by Si Spurrier
  • Art by Nathan Gooden
  • Colors by Addison Duke
  • Letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou
  • Design by Tim Daniel
  • This Hungry Earth Reddens Under Snowclad Hills.
  • 1899, Yukon Territory. A frozen frontier, bloodied and bruised by the last great Gold Rush. But in the lawless wastes to the North, something whispers in the hindbrains of men, drawing them to a blighted valley, where giant spidertracks mark the snow and impossible guns roar in the night.
  • To Brokehoof, where gold and blood are mined alike. Now, stumbling towards its haunted forests comes a woman gripped not by greed -- but the snarling rage of a mother in search of her child...
  • From Si Spurrier (Way of X, Hellblazer) and Nathan Gooden (Barbaric, Dark One) comes THE RUSH, a dark, lyrical delve into the horror and madness of the wild Yukon.

The preview pages and variants for this new series from Vault Comics reveal a frozen wasteland and a sneak peek at one of the many horrors awaiting readers. There appears to be a half-man, half-spider looming in the distance. This early look shows a camp of miners, including one man who has a growth of some kind in his arm, which he is seen cutting out. Perhaps this is one of the many "festering woods of frostbitten miners" that the series promises. Immediately after, a man in a bowler hat - the same one from the cover - appears with two large spider-legs showing behind him. The variants from Vault Comics suggest that these legs may actually be this man's body.

Best-described as a horror western, this story involved "hundreds of hours of research" and will include the "slang and syntax of the era". Si Spurrier stated that he has "been waiting to tell this story for years" and it certainly seems like it will be worth the wait. Spurrier also calls this "a project that lets me fuse together my most persistent occupations -- myths, the horrors of human desire and the power of stories -- with my hitherto unexplored geekiness for history." This will certainly be a divergence from Spurrier's previous work, like X-Men, but so far, it seems like that will be a good thing. Readers can check out The Rush when it releases in October 2021.

Bachelorette: Why Andrew Spencer Would Make A Great Bachelor

ScreenRant - Feed

Although his time on The Bachelorette has ended, Andrew Spencer’s time in Bachelor Nation could just be getting started. Bachelorette Katie Thurston and fans are calling for Andrew to be the next Bachelor, and it’s not hard to see why. The handsome and humble contestant has become a fan favorite, and many would like nothing more than to see him return on the next season of The Bachelor. There are several reasons why Andrew would make a great lead, and there’s a good chance he’s already in the running.

When hunky international football player Andrew met Katie on night one, he definitely stood out from the crowd—and not just for his good looks and impressive physique. Katie and Andrew connected over their sense of humor, and later on their one-on-one date, Katie saw Andrew’s romantic side as well. Unfortunately for Andrew, on the latest episode, Katie sent him home just before hometowns. Though he came to see her one last time before he left and she offered him another shot, Andrew decided it was best for him to say goodbye.

Related: Bachelorette: Katie Joins Fans In Demanding Andrew S. For Next Bachelor

Andrew may not have made it into Katie’s final four suitors, but he made a big impression on fans. It’s no surprise that viewers took a shine to Andrew and want to see him as the next lead. He has a great combination of humor, romance, and honesty that would make for an entertaining and relatable Bachelor. Andrew seems like he would be flexible enough to accept suggestions from producers but strong enough to stand up for what he wants, which could lead to an unforgettable season with a successful engagement at the end.

In addition to being a charismatic and entertaining Bachelor, Andrew is at the right place in his life for a serious relationship. At 26 years old, he’s still rather young, but Andrew has done a lot so far with his career and traveling and seems to know what he wants next. Andrew has already expressed that he is ready for marriage and has an idea of what he wants his family to be like. On his one-on-one with Katie, he spoke with her about potentially raising mixed-race children, which shows that he’s really thought about the details of his future.

There are certainly some great options for a future lead in the current cast of The Bachelorette, and Andrew Spencer has some of the best potential. Andrew could be a very entertaining lead who is truly looking for someone to spend the rest of his life with, and many fans are hoping ABC chooses him to be the next Bachelor. Viewers are likely still months away from finding out who the next male lead will be, but Andrew could be just the man for the job.

Black Panther Legends Launches Marvel's New Young Readers Line

ScreenRant - Feed

Marvel Comics is kicking off a Young Readers comic line with Black Panther Legends #1. Releasing in October, the comic will be the debut issue of the first Marvel Legends series. The MCU's Black Panther film featuring the hero already inspired young viewers around the world, and the comics are working to build on that momentum. Geared towards middle-grade readers, Black Panther Legends will add new elements to T'Challa's classic origin. The Marvel Legends range is intended to entertain new and existing fans, revealing fresh layers to established stories.

Black Panther Legends - a story which focuses on a young T'Challa, before he becomes the Black Panther - will be written by Tochi Onyebuchi with art by Setor Fiadzigbey. Onyebuchi is a Nigerian-American Nebula and Hugo award nominee, who has written novels that include Riot Baby, the War Girls series, and Beasts Made of Night. His comic debut was a story in Marvel's Voices: Legacy #1. Setor Fiadzigbey is a Ghanaian illustrator who has provided art for the Game Day Early Readers book series, Bunheads (written by ballerina Misty Copeland), as well as storyboards, character design, and comic production.

Related: 'Kid Constantine' Makes Surprise Magic in DC's Young Reader Graphic Novel

This four-issue series recently announced by Marvel plans to revisit some of the most important moments in T'Challa's story. It will show his teen years, when he meets Ororo Munroe, aka a pre-X-Men Storm. It will also show his invitation of the Fantastic Four to Wakanda. Black Panther's life story is getting a fresh start. Already this series is very exciting, as it brings together the world of Wakanda with the superheroes who have played a big role in shaping its future within the comics. Young fans may know how T'Challa became king initially and about some of his iconic foes. However, now they'll get a closer look at how his romantic relationship with Storm began, the brother they may not know he even has, and Wakanda's relationship with other heroes yet to appear in the MCU. Enjoy the first issue's cover and summary below:

  • BLACK PANTHER LEGENDS #1 (of 4)
  • Written by TOCHI ONYEBUCHI
  • Art by SETOR FIADZIGBEY
  • T'Challa and Hunter are brothers growing up in the idyllic royal palace of Wakanda. Theirs goes beyond the usual sibling rivalry, though - Hunter, although older, is adopted, and T'Challa is the true heir to the throne. Both brothers wrestle with fairness and the future, readying themselves for responsibility, when tragedy strikes and takes the choice from them.

Onyebuchi has expressed a desire to explore T'Challa's childhood in a specific political and social context, slipping slightly outside the always-shifting timeline of a character introduced in 1966 and more popular in 2021 than ever. This idea echoes previous comic projects like Spider-Man: Life Story, and promises to offer a consistent vision of T'Challa's life that will give existing fans a new experience of Black Panther while providing younger readers with everything they need to enjoy Black Panther Legends as a standalone version of the MCU hero's story.

Marvel and the creative team are clearly very excited about this upcoming series, and with a team like this, fans likely will be too. Black Panther's story is well-known, but there's more to it for fans of all ages to explore. Black Panther Legends #1 will release in October 2021.

90 Day Fiance: Yara Backed By Fans In Debate With Jovi About Parenting

ScreenRant - Feed

Recently, 90 Day Fiancé stars Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya got into a major disagreement over their parenting styles, and based on a fan poll, viewers seem to be overwhelmingly siding with Yara. In the past, Jovi’s family have been slammed for criticizing Yara’s abilities as a mother, and now fans are once again backing Yara and her outlook on raising her daughter Mylah.

On the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Jovi and Yara took a trip to Miami (with Mylah and grandma Gwen in tow) in an effort to get some alone time together. But during a fancy rooftop dinner, Jovi and Yara got into an argument. Jovi felt that Yara had changed completely from the fun girl he knew into a boring mom who isn’t interested in her relationship with him. However, Yara responded that Jovi needs to grow up and realize that as a father, his life and priorities need to shift.

Related: 90 Day Fiance: Yara Zaya Shares Disturbing Messages She Has Received

Reddit fans took a poll about who users agreed with more, Jovi or Yara, and the response was overwhelmingly one-sided. Of the 300 voters, over two-thirds of them defended Yara’s position. “I don’t know why people have kids and then act surprised that their lives change,” a fan commented. Another added that “Jovi just showing his true colors that he is always gonna be a selfish frat boy,” and doubted that he would ever change. Many agreed with Yara that her and Jovi’s lives are fundamentally different as parents and now Mylah always comes first.

However, despite most responding fans feeling like Yara was being mom shamed, there were others who sided with Jovi. A little under a third of the fans who voted thought Jovi wasn’t out of line to point out how much Yara has changed since Mylah was born. They agreed that as her husband Jovi should still be a priority to Yara, and she should still put effort into their relationship. There are still fans who think Yara is being overprotective of Mylah and is ignoring Jovi.

Regardless of whose side 90 Day Fiancé fans were on, many could agree that the couple’s disagreement felt more nuanced and organic than many of the dramatic blowups viewers have seen this season. Most of the other couples and families have explosive arguments, but Jovi and Yara’s disagreement was authentic and a relatable issue to new parents navigating the changes in their own lives. Fans may be split about who’s right; however, many can agree that Jovi and Yara are one of the least contrived couples on the show.

Batman's Most Powerful Villains Were Inspired By His Parents' Death

ScreenRant - Feed

The tragic and untimely deaths of Bruce Wayne’s parents eventually inspired the orphaned billionaire to grow up and become Gotham’s caped crusader, Batman, but he wasn’t the only one. With the abrupt and ultimately pointless deaths of two of Gotham’s most influential figures, one particular individual was equally as inspired—not to help Gotham, but to bring chaos to its streets.

The Red Hood Gang first appeared in Batman comics in 2012 during Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's acclaimed run on the title. The gang itself is not filled with Batman’s typical villains—cookie-cutter bad guys with violent pasts—and instead is populated by a press-ganged group of upper middle class individuals. With connections to classic Batman villains like the Joker, the gang is already well-established by the time readers are introduced. Fans learn that most members joined the group under threat of blackmail, though that doesn’t seem to stop their love of violence and chaos. The goal of the gang is explicitly stated to be there to spark fear in Gotham’s citizens because of just how random and chaotic their crimes are.

Related: DC Reveals Batman Is Destined To Die Just Like His Parents

The leader of the Red Hood Gang was given an early lesson in the pointlessness and randomness of some crime when the news of the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne reached the rest of Gotham. The original Red Hood himself was young at the time, and while his own parents expressed horror at the deaths, the future gang leader felt something else—inspiration. There was no reason for the Wayne couple’s death, the act was meaningless and it was that meaningless that inspired the original Red Hood to begin his life of crime. If two pillars of the community like the Waynes could be killed at random, who else could? And who could create that randomness? For the leader of the Red Hood Gang, it was an obvious choice to become that terrifying yet alluring bit of chaos. The tragic deaths, which inspired a young Bruce Wayne to work hard and spend the rest of his life doing vigilante work, also became the inspiration for more of the same kind of violence that took their lives.

The idea of a gang of upper middle class individuals who are not committing crimes for money or power, but simply to spread fear feels distinctly modern compared to Batman’s classic villains. It begs the question: when wealth has provided comfort and power, what else is there left to gain? The Red Hood Gang not only leans into this question, but also is unique in the fact that it is a gang of upper middle class people preying on the fears and preconceptions of middle and upper class Gotham.

While many villains and gangs have come and gone in Batman comics, the Red Hood Gang stands out for its specific goals. Not only did the villain play on the fears of Gotham’s middle class, but they corrupted the loss of Thomas and Martha Wayne by using that loss to inspire more violence and chaos.

Ghost Hunters Corp: How to Use The Exorcism Book (& What It’s For)

ScreenRant - Feed

Teams of paranormal investigators in the indie horror Ghost Hunters Corp. will not only need to seek evidence to identify the entity haunting the map, but will also need to take steps to exorcise it before it can kill them. Unlike Phasmophobia, to which Ghost Hunters Corp. is fairly similar, players are never safe from the moment they leave their van. All the ghosts in Ghost Hunters Corp. are more aggressive, even following ghost hunters back out to the van and attacking them there. With such violent spirits about, teams need to work quickly to find the ghost, find and use evidence to identify it, and figure out how to eliminate it from the house, mansion, or castle map. They will have a full suite of equipment available to help make this process run more smoothly, and one of the items they can bring with them is the Exorcism Book.

The Exorcism Book in Ghost Hunters Corp. is a good way to irritate the ghost doing the haunting and get it to show itself, making it somewhat easier to find and identify. However, when irritated, the ghost will attack the player character who is using the Exorcism Book and, unless they have a defensive item equipped, most likely kill the investigator before they can finish the task. The Exorcism Book is one of the requirements for exorcising entities, particularly Demons, from a home, making it an important tool for players to learn how to use effectively. Here's how to use the Exorcism Book in Ghost Hunters Corp.

Using the Exorcism Book in Ghost Hunters Corp. requires players to read a specific passage clearly into their microphone. Ghost Hunters Corp. uses voice recognition mechanics like Phasmophobia's to allow the ghost to hear and understand the players. The passage from the Exorcism Book must be read exactly as written and without stopping or stumbling, or it will not work. The specific wording appears below:

You who haunt this place, in the name of the Lord, I command you to go back where you came from! Let your soul return to the earth. Let your body return to the dust! So be the will of God.

Players should practice this a few times to make sure they can read it clearly and quickly. They should also make sure to check their microphone in the game's Settings and tutorial to ensure all their words are being picked up.

There are a few reasons players may use the Exorcism Book in Ghost Hunters Corp. The first is to exorcise the ghost. As players input evidence they have collected with other equipment, including Category, Electromagnetic field, Entity Scan, Temperature, Written Evidence, and Audio Proof, in the Ghostpedia, they will eventually find out the suggested exorcism for the specific entity. One of the requirements may be to read from the Exorcism Book. Players will need to read without stopping, even as the ghost approaches them to attack. When they finish the passage, the ghost should disappear in a plume of colorful smoke to signal this part of the exorcism was performed correctly.

The second reason players may use the Exorcism Book in Ghost Hunters Corp. is to intentionally upset the ghost, getting it to show itself and its behavior to categorize it right away. Almost as soon as players begin reading the passage, they will begin seeing and hearing angry ghost activity. One strategy for getting more evidence more quickly may be to read from the Exorcism Book at the start of a mission. This will often force an angry ghost to reveal themselves, which can provide much information about the kind of ghost the team will be dealing with. This can also lure the ghost close to the exit, allowing the team to gather evidence there and have a quick getaway back to the van if the entity begins to attack. This is a high-risk, high-reward strategy for getting a lot of evidence right away.

It is best to bring other defensive items inside along with the Exorcism Book. Good options include the traditional Crucifix, like the one in Phasmophobia, and Statue Marie, which can both repel ghosts and force them to despawn. These items don't last forever, however, and once they have burned up, they will no longer protect the team. Players can either hold these items or set them down to force a ghost to avoid certain areas. As ghosts become angrier, the team can also run out of the home and back to the van to avoid being killed. They will just need to make sure to shut the door behind them, or the ghost may rip it off its hinges and attack them inside.

How to Drive a Ferrari 296 GTB in Fortnite | Screen Rant

ScreenRant - Feed

In a surprise move, Epic Games recently partnered with Ferrari to bring the first-ever licensed cars to the Fortnite island, and players can find and drive the Ferrari 296 GTB in any match. To show off the mechanics of the new cars, three of Fortnite's Week 7 Epic Quests specifically have players getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari 296 GTB and reaching top speeds, driving through the storm, and completing a Time Trial. Players will not only need to find a Ferrari 296 GTB to drive in Fortnite, but will also need to exercise caution when using its speed booster to avoid being stranded in the middle of a quest.

The Ferrari 296 GTB spawns fairly sparsely throughout the Fortnite map, making it difficult for players to find one to drive. There are a few spots on the island with reliable spawns and several random spawn locations. Nonetheless, players may struggle to find a Ferrari, much less drive one, in these first few weeks of the crossover. Thankfully, the Epic Quests related to the car should stay active for the rest of Fortnite Season 7, giving players plenty of time to complete them. Once players find a Ferrari in Fortnite, they will want to make sure they have enough gas for it and consider picking up off-road tire upgrades as well. This will help ensure they can stay behind the wheel longer and complete their challenges. Here's how to find and drive a Ferrari 296 GTB in Fortnite Season 7.

The new Ferrari 296 GTB in Fortnite can most reliably be found at Believer Beach and Lazy Lake. Players have reported seeing one spawn at Believer Beach in front of the hotel or the gas station. There have also been reports that one spawns at the car dealership in Lazy Lake. Ferraris are likely to spawn at these two named locations almost every match, making them good places to start the search. Other reliable locations include the parking garage at Holly Hatchery and the bridge on the east side of Slurpy Swamp.

Like Fortnite's generic Whiplash sports car, players may also find a Ferrari at random Garages around the island. These are less static, and players will need to rely on chance and luck to find one.

Once players have found a Ferrari, they will likely face some opposition before they can hop in. It is best to bring a weapon and healing items in case opponents are also nearby. Players may consider landing at or near one of the known spawn locations directly from the Battle Bus, grabbing some starter gear, and moving as quickly as possible to make sure they are the first one to reach the car.

The three Epic Quests in Week 7 of Fortnite Season 7 that require a Ferrari are:

  • Reach top speed in a Ferrari 296 GTB (1).
  • Drive a Ferrari 296 GTB through the Storm (1).
  • Complete Ferrari 296 GTB Time Trials (1).

Before setting off to start any of these, players should consider fueling up and searching for off-road tires.

The Ferrari 296 GTB in Fortnite has a Boost ability that allows players to drive at incredible speeds, at a hefty fuel cost. Boost will be required to reach top speed in the Ferrari, but beyond that, it wastes more fuel than it is worth. Players should have no trouble completing the Time Trial or getting through the Storm without using Boost, and they will likely be able to travel for longer distances without it.

Off-road tires make it easier to drive a Ferrari through Fortnite's common grassy areas, cutting down the time it will take players to reach a specific destination. Unfortunately, like most sports cars, the Ferrari 296 GTB is not built for offroad travel, and players are likely to find it a less-than-pleasant, often perilous ride. Off-road tires will help mitigate these problems somewhat, but players may get the most benefit from sticking to paved roads, especially during the Time Trials.
