How to Sell Treasures in Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

ScreenRant - Feed

It is more than likely Link will pick up more Treasures in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD than he needs for gear upgrades, and players can only sell Treasures to one vendor. In The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, there are 16 kinds of Treasure that Link can collect. Some are rewarded for defeating enemies and bosses, while others are found while exploring the world. Players won't need everything they receive, and selling unwanted Treasures can be a good way to earn extra Rupees during the game.

Unfortunately, in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Link can't sell Treasures to just anyone. The only vendor who will purchase Link's unused Treasures is Rupin, who sold Link his first shield. This is not indicated anywhere in-game, nor is it immediately clear how to go about getting Rupin to pay for unwanted Treasures. There are several conditions to selling gear to Rupin, including times when he is available for this particular kind of trade and limits on how much he is willing to buy. Here's how to find Rupin and sell Treasures to him in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.

To sell Treasures in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Link will need to get to Skyloft. Rupin will not purchase Treasures from Link during the day. Instead, Link will need to visit him at night. Rupin does not remain at the Bazaar at night, but rather runs a sort of vendor program through his home.

Link can sleep in a bed around Skyloft to transition to nighttime. He will find Rupin at his home in the residential part of Skyloft, usually under one of the overhangs. When Link walks in and starts talking to Rupin, the vendor will announce his Night Market and offer to buy some of Link's Treasures, including Evil Crystals and Ancient Flowers.

Rupin will only be looking to purchase four random materials each night. Once players have reached the material cap for the day, or have run out of the Treasure Rupin wants that night, if they still have more Treasures to sell, they should go to sleep again and return to Rupin the next night. This process can be repeated as needed, and if players get stuck, they should consider continuing their adventure and returning to Skyloft again later.

The process can be somewhat tedious, but players can earn quite a few Rupees, the main form of currency in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, by selling unneeded Treasures to Rupin. Rupees are used to purchase everything from Wallet, Adventure Pouch, and Equipment upgrades, to the upgradeable Sacred Shield. Because there is no limit to how many Rupees players can earn, farming Rupees can help ensure Link has access to every possible asset during his adventure.
